Green chana barfi | chholiya barfi
This is a wonderful innovative dessert with beautiful green color, prepared from the green chickpeas which are rich in protein and folate.

gms mawa
reduced dried milk

condensed milk

green cardamom

th cup clarified butter

Make a paste of the green chickpeas

Heat ghee
-
Saute the green paste for 5 to 10 minutes

Make a smooth paste of the unsweetened mawa in grinder

Add the mawa and stir
-
Add 1/2 cup condensed milk and keep on stirring in slow flame

When the mixture is leaving the sides of the pan ,add sugar and stir

add cardamom powder and stir
-
set it in a greased pan and chill for 2 to 3 hours

Cut into squares and serve

You can decorate with chopped pistachios and almonds.
