  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup Sugar syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Clarified butter/oil for frying.

Making moti or pearls

  1. Make a smooth batter with water and chickpea flour.
  2. Strain the batter.
  3. Heat the clarified butter or oil in the pan.
  4. Drop the batter slowly in the oil.
  5. Fry the balls till light brown.

Making sugar syrup

  1. Heat sugar and water till it dissolves.

  2. cook the fried balls in sugar syrup till they completely absorb the syrup.

  3. Take out on a plate.
  4. Cool them.
  5. Make medium sized balls.
  6. Garnish with dried fruits.
