Heat the oil in the microwave with chilly flakes,cinnamon ,star anise for 1 minute
Strain the oil
Prepare five spice powder with cinnamon,star anise,cloves ,fennel seeds and pepper corns in equal
Add 2 tbsp of oil in the wok.
Add chopped onions and crushed garlic.
Add beetroot grated.
Add sesame paste and five spice powder. and stir till the spices are cooked and aroma emanates from them
Add soy sauce.
Add the vegetables like spinach and green chilies or capsicum.
Add the rice and noodles and mix together.Add 1/2 cup of vegetable stock if the mixture is too dry
Add salt as per taste,vinegar and sugar.
Add the chili oil and mix.
sprinkle roasted peanuts on top and serve.
