  • 1 cup Pulp of Palmyra
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 2 cups refined flour
  • 1 cup grated coconut dessicated
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds.
  • 1 cup milk

sugar syrup

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water



  1. for the sugar syrup boil water and sugar together till it forms a thick syrup.
  2. When touched with two fingers the syrup should form a single string.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together and form a uniform batter.
  4. if the batter is too thick ,Add milk to loosen the batter.
  5. Add a spoon to the hot oil to make crisp malpuas.
  6. Dip them in sugar syrup
