This is a rustic quick biryani prepared in Malvani style. Due to the addition of coconut, the favor of seafood is enhanced to a different level altogether. Overall an amazing filling and flavorsome one pot meal.

  • 2 cups rice'
  • 500 gm prawns
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 5 to 6 curry leaves
  • 1 cup chopped onions.
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp biryani masala
  • 1/2 cup paste of fresh grated coconut.
  • 4 to 5 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri chili powder.
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnish.

Preparations

  1. Fry mustard seeds,
  2. add curry leaves, and fry.
  3. Fry Onions, ginger garlic paste,
  4. Add readymade Biryani masala,
  5. Add a paste of coconut and green chilies, Kashmiri red chili powder.
  6. Add prawns saute till cooked, add salt,
  7. Add cooked rice mix.
  8. Sprinkle coriander leaves and chopped green chilies.
