These are moist fudgy melt into mouth brownies ,gluten free and sweetened with organic jaggery

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup finger millet flour or ragi
  • 1/3 rd cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Wet ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gm chocolate
  • 75 gm butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup organic jaggery powder

Pumpkin spice

  • 1 small pumpkin roasted and pureed
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup jaggery powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp fine powdered cinnamon cardamom and cloves


  • 100 gm white chocolate
  • 50 gm dark chocolate



Cake batter

  1. preheat the oven to 200 degrees
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  3. Beat eggs together
  4. melt chocolate in a double boiler.
  5. Add butter and mix till smooth
  6. Add vanilla and mix
  7. Add melted chocolate to the eggs and mix.
  8. Add powdered jaggery and beat.
  9. Fold in the dry ingredient in batches and mix till smooth.

Pumpkin spice

  1. Beat eggs and pumpkin puree together
  2. Add powdered jaggery
  3. Add spices
  4. Add vanilla Mix together.


  1. Grease a square baking mold.
  2. line with parchment paper.
  3. Pour the flour and chocolate mix batter.
  4. pour the pumpkin spice mix on top of this.
  5. Mix the layers gently by forming swirls with fork.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees


  1. Melt white chocolate and pour on the brownies.
  2. Cut them into squares.
  3. prepare dark cholate spiders and top the brownies with them
