Cilantro stuffed Jalapinos(bharwa dhaniya Mirchi)

My husband loves spicy food a lot so you will always find a lot of chilies and jalapenos in my vegetable basket. But I am fond of bland food and my daughter won’t eat spicy dishes. So to satisfy both of them I made this stuffed Jalapenos with cilantro and garlic paste. It was tasty and had a lot of flavor from the herb and it is very quick and easy to make.Only thing you need to de-seed them .So your hands may burn a little which you can wash with milk to get relief  or better wear a pair of gloves.

1.7 to 8 jalapinos bunch cilantro or dhania
3.garlic(4 to 5 cloves)
4.Salt (a pinch)
5.Chilli flakes (1/2 tsp) optional
6.1 cup gram flour
7.1/4th cup water
8.Oil for deep fry
9.Corn flour for coating(1/2 cup)

Preparing the Jalapinos

1.Slit the Jalapenos from the middle .
2.De-seed them completely.[this will remove the heat from them]

Preparing the stuffing

1.grind the cilantro with garlic and salt.
2.Add chilly flakes.

Preparing the Batter
1.Add water to the gram flour and make a thick batter.
2.Add little salt.

Deep fry

1.Stuff the Jalapenos with the above stuffing
2.Dip the jalapenos into the batter and take out
3.smear it with corn flour and keep aside.
4.Repeat the steps for all the Jalapinos
5.Heat the oil in a wok .
6.Add the jalapenos in the hot oil and deep fry them in medium heat.

Note. You should take care of the salt content. The cilantro paste tends to absorb more salt.

Enjoy as a snack or as a starter 🙂
