Watermelon apple cooler

This juice works wonders for your body before you go out in the sun and work for the whole day. You don’t really need ice for cooling as this juice is in itself a body cooler. More than 90% of the fruit watermelon contains water which is essential for retaining the water content of our body which gets constantly drained out by the Summer heat. Lemon juice .rock salt and a bit of cinnamon add a tangy spicy flavor to the sweet juice.

Ingredients

  1. Watermelon (the red part cut into pieces preferably seeds removed) around 3 cups
  2. Apple (1 peeled and chopped)
  3. Rock salt (1 tsp)
  4. Lemon juice (1 lemon)
  5. Cinnamon powder(1/4 tsp)
  6. ice cubes(optional)

Preparation

  1. Crush the ice cubes in a grinder and keep them aside in the freezer.
  2. Grind the fruits in a blender till smooth.
  3. Strain the juice through a fine sieve.
  4. Add cinnamon powder, lemon juice, and rock salt.
  5. Add the crushed ice (optional)
  6. Serve in glasses, garnish with lemon wedges.
