Bong Connection Dessert

Coconut rawa laddo(coconut semolina sweet balls)

These are sweet dishes which can be enjoyed during any festive seasons with family.The main constituents are grated coconut,fine semolina and sugar.Instead of sugar one can use jaggery.

 

Ingredient
1.Grated coconut (3 to 4 cups)
2.Sugar 1 cup
3.Fine semolina (1/4 th cup)
4.Milk (as per requirement)
5.Green Cardamom (2 to 3)
6.Saffron soaked in milk (a pinch)
Preparation
1.Grind the grated coconut into a fine paste in the grinder.
2.Heat the wok and add the sugar and coconut and stir.
3.Add the semolina and continue to stir.
4.If the mixture becomes too sticky add some milk and stir again.
5.Continue to do this on a low flame till the semolina is cooked properly and the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.
6.Add the grounded cardamom seeds ans saffron at this stage.
7.The mixture should be little sticky ,if it is not add 1/2 cup of more sugar and stir till it melts.
8.When the mixture is sticky and not runny or flowing get it off the flames .
9.Take little clarified butter or ghee on your palms and with the hot mixture make round laddos.
10.If your palm feels hot wash with water and repeat the process to make another laddo or ball.

refrigerate it for sometimes and then consume…………
