This is a pretty and simple recipe which is delicious and completely filling .It can qualify as a brunch or working lunch ,and leave you wanting for more.The seafood should be fresh and crunchy in the salad and veggies should be of your choice.

Serves 2

Ingredients

  1. Prawns 6 to 8
  2. Basa fillets cut into strips
  3. Salt(1 tsp)
  4. zucchini (1/2 cup sliced)
  5. Cucumber (A handful sliced)
  6. red peppers(thin strips)
  7. Rice vinegar(1 tbsp)
  8. Dijon mustard paste(1 tbsp)
  9. Iceberg lettuce(chopped 1 cup)
  10. Green chilies(finely sliced 1)
  11. Olive oil (1 tsp)
  12. Lettuce leaves(2 to 4)

Method

  1. Marinate the seafood with salt and vinegar.
  2. saute the seafood in olive oil till they become opaque.
  3. Mix the veg with the seafood and mustard paste.
  4. Arrange a bed of lettuce leaves .
  5. Place the seafood and veggies mixture.
  6. place on the salad leaves bed and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Sprinkle some freshly ground black pepper and serve immediately.
