Chilli potato bites

I went to attend some seminar in Grand Hyatt Mumbai,where I happened to taste this dish which looked gorgeous and seemed easy to make during my busy schedules.So after I came home I gave it a try.I am not sure whether the chef used the same ingredients or not but it is an interesting vegetarian starter which is simple and easy to cook and will draw attention of your guests
1.Potatoes cut into bite sizes( par boiled with little salt) 4 to 5 big potatoes
2.Red paprika powder (1 tbsp) or Kashmiri chilli powder
3.Garlic (9 to 10) crushed
4.Tomato ketchup(3 to 4 tbsp)
5.Dry Red chillies (2 torn into big pieces with hand ,elliminate the seeds)
6.1/2 cup of oil
7.White sesame seeds roasted(1 tbsp)
8.cornflour (2 tbsps)
1.Boil the potaoes,drain water and keep them dry(don’t overcook them)
2.Add oil in the wok and keep for heating.
3.Roll the potato pieces in corn flour and deep fry in oil till crispy.
4.Keep the oil away.
5.Add a tbsp of oil in the wok and add red chilly pieces and garlic
6.When nice flavour starts coming add tomato ketchup and red paprika powder.
7.Add the potaoes and stir lightly to coat with the spices.Check salt ,add if required.Cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
8.If the potatoes are not cooked enough ,cover and cook in slow heat.
9.Dry roast the sesame seeds and sprinkle on the potatoes.
10.Plate it and serve immediately.
