soft coconut chocolate chip cookies
1.Whole wheat flour or Refined flour(1 cup) makes 6 to 8 cookies
2.Butter (1/2 cup)
3.Double whipped cream (2 tbsp)
4.Sugar (2 to 3 tbsp)
5.Salt (1/2 tbsp)
7.Chocolate chips (3 to 4 tbs)
8.Cocoa powder (2 tbsp)
9.Baking powder(1 tbsp)
10 Dried dessicated coconut (2 tbsp)
11.Vanilla essence(1/2 tbsp)
First Preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius for 5 to 7 minutes
1.Sieve the flour,cocoa and baking powder.
2.Soften butter with an egg beater.
3.Add egg and beat
4.Add vanilla,sugar and cream and beat until it forms an even mixture.
5.No need to over beat.
6.Fold in the flour with spatula .
7.Add coconut and chocolate chips.
8.It forms a soft dough.
9.If it is difficult to handle refrigerate for some time.
10.Make large balls and roll with a rolling pin.
11.With a cookie cutter cut shapes.
12.Rub butter on the baking tray and keep the cut cookie dough.
13.Bake for exactly 10 minutes at 150 degrees.
14.if you think the sides of the cookies are cooked, take out the batch and keep it for cooling for 5 to 10 minutes(if the people around you allow you to do so.The smell of the cookie baking makes everybody hungry.)
- Melt some dark chocolate in the double boiler.
- Add a tbsp of truffle cream
- pour the mixture into a piping bag with a writer nozzle and decorate the top of the cookies with a pattern of your choice
- sprinkle the colored sprinklers.
