Anyday steamed eggs with spinach

If anyone is dieting, he or she or they know about the importance of eggs in the weight loss journey. Eggs are nutrition dense, rich in protein, filling, help to control cravings and have innumerable benefits. Today I tried this wholesome delicious recipe from my childhood which my mom used to make for my tiffin and my friends used to love. My lunchbox used to get over long before the real lunch break. I decided to give this dish a makover and add spinach for that fresh green look
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1 tbsp ginger grated
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic grated
- 1/4 cup onion chopped
- 2 to 3 green chilies chopped
- a bunch of spinach leaves cleaned and chopped fine
- salt to taste
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Crack the eggs one by one and add to the spinach leaves
- beat till uniform
- Add the onions, ginger , garlic and green chilies and mix
- Add salt to taste
- Take a square cake mold , line with parchment paper.
- steam over boiling water covered for 40 to 45 minutes
- Check with toothpick if the center is cooked
- add grated mozzarella on top and micro for 2 minutes
- cool unmold and cut into squares.
- Serve with your choice of sauce and mayonnaise.

Any day steamed eggs with spinach
These are eggs and spinach mixture with spices onion,ginger ,garlic, green chilies just steamed topped with grated mozzarella.
