Lemon mint grilled prawns

This is a recipe which is mild spicy and full of flavors .Because of mint the dish is refreshing .you can serve this as a starter in any party or get together or as a side dish to rotis or naans.My daughter just loves prawn .this recipe is an instant hit at my home.

 

Ingredients

1.Prawns (8 to 10)
2.Onion (1/2)
3.Ginger (1/2 inch)
4.Garlic (4 to 5 cloves)
5.Green chilly (1)
6.Lemon juice (1 lemon around 2 tbsp)
7.Salt as per taste
8.Mint (a bunch broken into small pieces with hand)
9. Ajwain (roasted and powdered 1 tbsp)
10.Black pepper coarsely ground(1 tbsp)
11.Olive oil (2 tbsp)
12.Capsicum chopped into big pieces
13.Onions cut into cubes

 

 

 

Preparations

1.Grind the ingredients from 2 to 5 in the grinder and add salt , lemon juice and mint leaves and  marinate the prawns for 15 minutes.
2.Add black pepper and ajwain powder to the mixture and mix.
3.Arrange the prawns and vegetables alternately into skewers and drizzle marinades and oil on them.
4.grill in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes till the veggies are cooked well.
5.Serve hot.
