Tomato chilly tagliatelle pasta with seafood

This is a type of pasta which look like thin flat ribbons and sold in curled spiral form. I find this pasta extremely tasty. In this dish I haven’t added cheese but if you want to add grated cheese on top of the finished dish. Here are the ingredients: –
 

These are flat spiral shaped pasta slathered in a tomato and garlic-based sauce cooked with fish fillets and prawns.

1.4 to 5 spirals of tagliatelle
2.Ripe tomatoes (3)
3.Dried basil (1 tbsp)
4.Oregano (1 tbsp dried) or fresh (a bunch)
5.Prawns (4 to 5 medium sized) chopped
6.Fish fillets (cut into strips) 7 to 8
7.Lemon juice (2 tbsp)
8.Garlic (7 to 8 cloves chopped)
9.Green chilies (1 chopped)
10.Paprika or red chili powder (1 tbsp)
11.Olive oil (2 tbsp)
12.Salt as per taste.

 
 

Preparation

1.Marinate the seafood in salt and lemon juice for at least an hour. Cook the pasta as per instructions with little salt till tender but firm to bite.
2.Boil the tomatoes in water till soft.
3.Plunge them in cold water and peel the skin and de-seed them.
4.Blend in the mixer with green chili and garlic into a smooth paste.
5.Add 2 tbsp of olive oil.
6.Add the tomato garlic paste and a tbsp of red chili powder or paprika and sauté till the raw smell goes away.
7.Add the seafood and sauté till it becomes tender.
8.Add oregano and dried basil and sauté.
9.Add the pasta and cook and mix on medium flame. If you think the sauce is becoming dry, you can add 1/2 cup of water and cover cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
10.Serve hot.
