Tomato chilly tagliatelle pasta with seafood
1.4 to 5 spirals of tagliatelle
2.Ripe tomatoes (3)
3.Dried basil (1 tbsp)
4.Oregano (1 tbsp dried ) or fresh (a bunch)
5.Prawns (4 to 5 medium sized) chopped
6.Fish fillets (cut into strips) 7 to 8
7.Lemon juice(2 tbsp)
8.Garlic (7 to 8 cloves chopped)
9.Green chilies(1 chopped)
10.Paprika or red chilly powder (1 tbsp)
11.Olive oil (2 tbsp)
12.Salt as per taste.
1.Marinate the seafood in salt and lemon juice for at least an hour.Cook the pasta as per instructions with little salt till tender but firm to bite.
2.Boil the tomatoes in water till soft.
3.Plunge them in cold water and peel the skin and de-seed them.
4.Blend in the mixer with green chilly and garlic into a smooth paste.
5.Add 2 tbsp of olive oil.
6.Add the tomato garlic paste and a tbsp of red chilly powder or paprika and saute till the raw smell goes away.
7.Add the seafood and saute till it becomes tender .
8.Add oregano and dried basil and saute.
9.Add the pasta and cook and mix on medium flame .If you think the sauce is becoming dry ,you can add 1/2 cup of water and cover cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
