Its a sweet and sour curry with jumbo prawns flavoured with whole spices. The curry is just simple with minimal ingredients.

- 6 Jumbo prawns
Marinate
- 1 cup curd
- 1 tsp of turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 6 to 7 green chilies sliced
Whole spices
- 4 to 5 cloves
- 4 green cardamoms
- 1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
4 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Marinate the prawns with all ingredients including curd ,turmeric powder and sliced green chilies.
- Heat oil
- add crushed whole spices
- Add the prawns with marinate.
- Add salt and sugar
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- When prawn become opaque ,take them out
- Add 1/2 cup of water
- Add garam masala powder and reduce till the oil is seen
- Add the prawns and mix ,cook for 2 minutes for flavors to marry.
