Grilled lemon fish

 

I had a get-together at my home a week back and after that there was a Basa fish fillet left in my freezer yet to be cooked.Instead of going for regular fish fries or fish fingers I thought of making grilled fish which was a healthier option .Grilled fish and Chips can make a evening snack or even a dinner.

Ingredients

Marination

  • Fish fillet(1)
  • Honey (1 tbsp)
  • Lemon juice(3 tbsp)
  • Ginger garlic paste(1 tbsp)
  • Salt(as per taste)
  • Chili flakes(1 tbsp)
  • Dried Italian mixed seasonings(dried oregano,rosemary,basil,parsley,garlic)
  • Butter (2 tbsp)
  • Kashmiri chilly powder (a pinch)

Vegetables

  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  • Chopped tomato 1/2 cup
  • Chopped capsicum 1/2 cup

Preparation

  • Marinate the fish with all the above ingredients.
  • preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • put the marinated fish and the vegetables  in the baking tray and bake it in the oven  at 170 degree Celsius for 20 minutes.
  • Turn the fish on the other side,pour some more marinate remaining  and bake for another 15 minutes.
  • Grill it now for another 10 minutes.
  • Decorate with lemon slices and serve it with vegetable salad .
