Hyderabad sightseeing itinerary
The entire month of April I was at NICMAR for a corporate teaching assignment at Hyderabad, a beautiful sustainable green campus so close to the nature surrounded by paddy fields , empowered with solar panels and open, airy classrooms.
My room had big open glass windows looking to a luscious green garden. the food at the canteen was super healthy delicious and made from local produce. Of course, no visit to Hyderabad is complete without indulging in its iconic biryani, and I found myself at the nearest Pista House outlet in Aliabad. The biryani was absolutely top-notch, rich with flavors and perfectly spiced.
Don’t miss their Qurbani ka Meetha, a decadent dessert made from fresh apricots—an absolute treat. You an also buy varieties of baked items and biscuits from here.
During one weekend decided to go around the city , Hussain Sagar lake, secretariat building, Lumbini park and the old city of Hyderabad. climb up the majestic Charminar. Built by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah to commemorate the end of a deadly plague, Charminar offers a stunning panoramic view of the bustling old market below. You can shop for clothes or beautiful pearl jewelries from the market.
Don’t miss the lunch at Shadaab which is a popular local restaurant for biriyani and Mughlai food lovers. We ordered patthar ka goshth and mutton and chicken biryani with some delicious desserts. Finally on Akshay Tritiya visited this Ratnalayaam temple at Aliyabad before returning home to Mumbai
