Toast Bistro and Bar  located on the 8th floor of t24 residency hotel , was celebrating its 2nd anniversary on 27th October .I got an  invitation to join the celebrations having a complimentary dinner and spending a wonderful evening with my fellow bloggers from FBAI.The decor was contemporary and trendy. The dim-light ambiance with soothing music was mysterious and romantic.
The icing on the cake was the rooftop restaurant with beautiful picturesque view of the city .The venue seems perfect for a romantic date or a valentine dinner without  burning a huge hole in your pocket.

The area was beautifully lit with fancy lanterns and there were comfortable couches and private seating arrangements for  groups as well as for casual hangouts .You can have a spectacular view while dining out in the open air.
I tried the sangria here which I found very enticing ,the wine seemed a bit more sweet than I had before but it was perfectly spiced and flavored and suited my  taste.The other cocktails like vodka with orange juice,bloody Mary (vodka with tomato juice and peppers) were equally good.

We were served some starters paired with the cocktails :-
Thai chicken lettuce wraps:- I instantly fell in love with these wraps which tasted crunchy refreshing  and the chicken pieces with loaded with spicy flavors.

Texas barbecue chicken tenders:-These were perfect  taken out  of the barbecue skewers ,juicy,retained the smoky flavors and the sweetness of the barbecue sauce.Only thing I would like to mention here that they were not bite sized pieces and are not small enough to be picked up with a tooth pick.

Pesto pan chicken:The grilled chicken marinated with the pesto sauce ,looked beautiful green ,juicy and  appetizing.

Sesame cottage cheese:I just loved this paneer with mild flavor from sesame seeds and this is something unique from the kitchen which is highly recommended to try.

Fish with oyster sauce: The small  bite sized basa fillets coated and deep fried and then sauted in spicy oyster sauce ,stole the show.This was the star of this evening as every one in our group wanted to have more of it.the fish had a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavor.The bites were crispy  ,yet tender and juicy from inside.

The service was prompt and polite .You can spend time in the restaurant adjoining the bar which is cosy and comfortable or  the rooftop extension which is  open and breezy .
