Chocolate Truffles with caramelised rice flakes

It is said that necessity is the mother of invention.Something similar happened to me yesterday when my mom asked me to prepare some chocolates for her as she loves the chocolates made by me and as she  will be travelling on 13th ,I had little time left.I hardly get time to go to the market after coming from work.Cooking chocolate bar was there but nothing else,no dry fruits, cracklers or nuts.So I decided to use this rice flakes which was kept unused in my cupboard for some times now and results ??you should try that and thank me…

1.Cooking chocolate bar (200 gms)
2.Flattened rice flakes (Poha)
3.Sugar 2 to 3 tbsp
4.Butter(1 tbsp)

1.Melt some chocolate in a double boiler.
2.Dry roast the rice flakes on a wok till it turns brown and crispy.
3.Add 3 tbsps of sugar
4.wait until it melts.
5.Add molten chocolate to the roasted rice flakes(poha).
6.The mixture should become smi dry.
7.You can keep it in the freeze for some times. But it should not solidify.
8.Take care of your hands …wet your palm with little water.
9.Make small balls out of the mixture.
10.Melt some more chocolate to make around half cup of molten chocolate
11.Roll the balls on this molten chocolates and allow to freeze for 10 minutes.
12.After this you can keep it out and have when ever you like
