This is a variant of chili chicken which I prepared with a sticky honey glaze which gives an attractive bright coating and a sweet sour and spicy flavour with a little bit of crunch . The honey is caramelized and pour over the chicken to add a sticky coating of the sauce. I personally love to add a lot of green chilies. The dish is sweet ,spice will add a punch to it.

- 400 gm chicken with bones or boneless
Marinate
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Coating
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 1 egg
Seasoning
- 1/2 cup shallots
- 4 to 5 garlic chopped
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- chopped green chili
Glaze
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar

Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, vinegar, ginger garlic paste for an hour. Add cornflour 1 egg and deep-fry till coated.

In oil fry shallots green onions garlic,light soy sauce,1/2 cup honey,red chili flakes or chili powder, chopped green chili,Add chicken and saute.

Microwave or heat the contents of the glaze for 1 minute or till it becomes sticky, caramellized.
