Mango ginger detox

You can beat the blistering Summer heat with this wonderful drink which also detoxifies your body  and has minimum calories.Ginger  has been used in Ayurveda from ancient times for numerous digestive and healing benefits.This drink combines the health benefits of ginger and detoxifying properties of the seasonal fruit mango in one drink and above all it is aromatic and delicious.


  1. Mango  2(cut into chunks)
  2. Sugar(as per taste )[optional]
  3. Ginger (1 tsp) grated
  4. Chilled water (as per quantity of drink you want)


  1. Freeze the mango chunks in the freezer for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. Grate the ginger .Add 1/4th cup of water and strain the juice.
  3. Add the frozen mango to the grinder and add chilled water and ginger juice and blend till smooth.You can add suagr if required.
  4. Serve in tall glasses.
