I had a get-together at my home a week back and after that there was a Basa fish fillet left in my freezer yet to be cooked.Instead of going for regular fish fries or fish fingers I thought of making grilled fish which was a healthier option .Grilled fish and Chips can make a evening snack or even a dinner.
Ingredients
Marination
- Fish fillet(1)
- Honey (1 tbsp)
- Lemon juice(3 tbsp)
- Ginger garlic paste(1 tbsp)
- Salt(as per taste)
- Chili flakes(1 tbsp)
- Dried Italian mixed seasonings(dried oregano,rosemary,basil,parsley,garlic)
- Butter (2 tbsp)
- Kashmiri chilly powder (a pinch)
Vegetables
- Chopped onion 1/2 cup
- Chopped tomato 1/2 cup
- Chopped capsicum 1/2 cup
Preparation
- Marinate the fish with all the above ingredients.
- preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- put the marinated fish and the vegetables in the baking tray and bake it in the oven at 170 degree Celsius for 20 minutes.
- Turn the fish on the other side,pour some more marinate remaining and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Grill it now for another 10 minutes.
- Decorate with lemon slices and serve it with vegetable salad .
