Best chocolate meringue pie recipe

I had heard about this wonderful dish “pie” but did not venture  to make it before due to the lack of know how until one day my Foodie+ friend +Tom Anita Morgan had posted a recipe of this amazing looking dish lemon pie .It was a trigger for me as the next day was the festival of “Raksha Bandhan” which is celebrated through out India .In this festival, a sister ties a sacred thread on the hand of her brother praying for his well being while the  brother in turn pledges to protect her. After the ceremony generally there is a grand feast among the family members and I was looking for an innovative dessert idea. My brother is specially fond of sweets and innovative desserts. I was planning to follow the recipe but egg yolks got exhausted as I had used them for making homemade mayo for another dish.
Then  decided to make this chocolate filling and it was amazing and everybody enjoyed it. I will like to thank Tom for this recipe.
The pie crust was made at home  too
